The 2026 Chamber Bowl
Welcome back to the Chamber of Haunters Chamber Bowl.
In celebration of our fifth year serving the Haunt community, the Chamber is opening up our Chamber Bowl to the public!
Please read the rules below and fill out the form below. Its just that simple. Enjoy the fun and good luck!
The Rules...
The Chamber Bowl is a single elimination bracket style (friendly) competition between haunted attractions of all sizes.
You must be a Haunted Attraction owner to participate in the Chamber Bowl.
There may be many competitors, but there is only one prize!
So dust off those chainsaws, polish up those kitchen knives, and practice your victory cackles, because the Battle Royal of haunted attraction battles is on! (In a nice, friendly way of course…)
1. Eligibility and Entry
Any professional or amateur haunted attractions (e.g., haunted houses, trails, mazes, or escape rooms with a horror theme) .
Entries must be submitted by the attraction owner with operational details, such as a website, social media page, or photos.
Only 1 entry per Haunt will be accepted
Entries will be limited to the first 32 Haunts in order to fit the bracket format. If more apply, use of a selection committee or preliminary vote may be utilized to narrow it down to 32.
No entry fee required, but Haunts must agree to promote the tournament on their social media platforms for visibility.
2. Tournament Structure
Bracket Setup: Use a single-elimination bracket. There will be three separate brackets: Small/Home Haunts, Medium Haunts, and Large Haunts
Rounds:
Round 1: Initial match ups (e.g., 32 haunts = 16 match ups).
Subsequent Rounds: Winners advance (e.g., Quarterfinals, Semifinals, Finals).
Championship: Final two haunts compete for the title in every size bracket.
If there’s an odd number of entrants, we’ll use byes for advancement.
3. Voting Process
Voting Platform: Use a secure online tool (like Google Forms, Poll Everywhere, or a dedicated app/site) to prevent fraud. We will require email verification or CAPTCHA to limit bots.
Who Can Vote: Open to the public, but limit to one vote per person per match up (tracked via IP and/or email).
Voting Period: Each round lasts 24 hours. We will announce start/end times clearly.
Voting Criteria: Voters will choose between one of the two Haunts listed in the bracket.
Tiebreaker: In case of a tie, use a sudden-death extension (e.g., 24-hour extra voting) or judge’s decision from a neutral panel.
4. Advancement and Winning
The haunt with the most votes in each match up advances to the next round.
The fallen who are eliminated maybe honored in our “Competitor’s Catacomb” for notable performances.
Champion Perks: The winner gets a championship belt or trophy, bragging rights, and featured promotion on our social media and our member magazine.
Announcement of the results will be made via social media, with the champion being told in advance of the official announcement.
5. Fair Play and Conduct
No Cheating: Prohibited activities include, but not limited to, vote buying, bot usage, or multiple accounts. Violations result in disqualification and potential bans from future events.
Promotion Guidelines: Haunts can campaign on social media (e.g., share voting links), but no negative attacks on competitors—keep it spooky and respectful.
Dispute Resolution: A neutral organizer or committee handles complaints. All decisions are final.
We encourage all haunts (e.g., family-friendly vs. extreme horror) and will ensure voting is accessible (e.g., mobile-friendly).
6. Timeline and Logistics
Overall Duration: Run the tournament over 4-6 weeks, starting in March 15th.
Announcements: Facebook will be the main avenue for posting updates, post brackets, voting links, and results.
